For those who are serving in the western part of the United States of America.

What I'm wondering is why has no one challenged the military and the government in this fashion before?
There are so many good, stract troops, who just happen to be gay/lesbian in the military.
Why shouldn't they be allowed to serve the country of their birth like any straight person can?
Is any one willing to answer?

I have no idea why this tactic wasnt used before but you know where I stand on the issue of gay rights in any context... =)
